Winter Festivities

I spent some time with my family and some good family friends in a beautiful wooden lodge in West Woodburn, Northumberland for a few days after Christmas. I felt a bit like a countryside princess when I arrived to see how luxurious it was...

I can't believe something like this exists only 40 minutes from my home.

Next stop, London for New Year with James. Not the usual trip to the local bar but something much more amazing. We stayed with James' brother and his girlfriend in Hammersmith and spent New Year's Eve on the Royal Mile watching the fireworks, it was absolutely outstanding, so much effort was put in to what was a fantastic display.

A Chorus Of Disapproval

New Year's Day was just as amazing, we spent the morning lounging then went to Regent's Street to do a bit of shopping. After a lovely meal in Prezzo we went on to have our gift from James' brother and his girlfriend - they bought us front row theatre tickets for A Chorus Of Disapproval and a limousine ride around London - very grown up and sophisticated. The show was hilarious and Rob Brydon played an excellent part and the limo ride was fab. James' and I's first New Year together and definitely one to remember.
