Christmas Goodies

Suitcase, holdall & clutch bag - River Island | Watch - Michael Kors - Courtesy of Santa Claus himself
Vogue The Editor's Eye - Courtesy of Mr & Mrs Seymour
Nike Blazers | Silver Ring - Nottingham Christmas Market - Courtesy of My Mr

A very lucky girl for Christmas 2012. I'm still excited over these presents now. I'm yet to see anyone with these colour blazers so I'm feeling rather smug and as for the ring, it's beautiful and it fits perfectly, James did extremely well.

I love the colourway of my MK watch as I already have an all black Toy Watch so it's a nice contrast of accessories to switch to and from.

Zara Brings The Festive Jumpers

I was in Zara during the week looking for a black knitted jumper but as soon as I walked in it was like two floors of knitwear heaven - Zara are going all out on the knitwear this year. Before I knew it I had six jumpers in my arms and was heading for the changing rooms. After a long session of trying on and looking this way and that I fell in love with what I was actually looking for for once - a black knitted jumper with silver crystal embellishment on to get me in the Christmas spirit.

I was always more of a Topshop girl but at the moment I am in love with everything Zara and if I'm feeling a bit skint, New Look has really upped its game for AW.

Today's Purchases: Saved By The Sales

I went to town for a couple of essentials and came back with these beauties, I couldn't resist considering the prices. These faux suede black brogues with white rubber soles are from Topshop, perfect to add to the work experience wardrobe.

I love finding shoes that you can put with any sort of outfit. These brogues will look good with work attire or a tea dress and some ankle socks, they'll even look good with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

Urban Outfitters opened in Newcastle when I was living in Nottingham so this week was the first time I got a chance to go in, it had some really cool visual merchandising. I bought this lace/embroidered crop top for £21 less than it should have been so I obviously couldn't say no. It fits perfectly and is really flattering. I'll be wearing it with a circle skirt when my friends come to visit next weekend.

Don't you just love sales?

Today's Purchases: Some Goodies for the New Flat

I went to Tynemouth Market today, I've never been before so we took a family outing to have a look around - I was beyond grateful it was in the metro station because the weather was despicable. I wasn't planning on buying much but couldn't help myself when I saw these treasures...

A vintage style wooden box with an old fashioned catch to keep some of my random possessions in.

A beautiful photograph of the famous Strawberry pub to remind me of Newcastle when I move back to Notts.

Some photo pegs and a little heart ornament to hang on my door.

Everything I bought was for a fiver or less so I was very very pleased. I really can't wait to move in now.

Today's Purchases: Dip Dye Levi's

I went into Newcastle for the first time in forever today, it was such a nice day, the sun was out and I met up with some friends I hadn't seen in ages. We ended up going to a really cool vintage shop, which opened quite recently, called Deep. I wasn't planning on buying anything but I've been hunting for the right pair of Levi shorts for months now and my friends persuaded my into buying these ones (I love!):

Everywhere I look now Levi shorts are so ridiculously priced but Deep have them for pretty reasonable money so I couldn't not buy them - that's what I've convinced myself anyway.

I really like the branding of the shop too, I thought it was nice that they stapled my receipt to a little card, it finished off the purchase. You don't get many small shops or brands doing that.

Overall I had such a good day with my friends in a city I love.

My friend spotted this in another vintage shop called Eric, I had to get my picture taken with it since Taylor is my surname.

We were given these free mini vanilla frappuccinos from Starbucks, they were so cute, and yum too.

Everybody chilling on the grass in Newcastle.

Today's Purchases: Jewellery

H&M and Primark have some beautiful jewellery at the moment, I couldn't help but invest.
