So on 30th June, the fashion show finally went ahead and it couldn't have went any better! My best friend, Lelle and I co-organised it with supervision of Louise, the textiles lecturer. The show was all in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and we managed to raise £811 for an incredible cause! It was a lot of hard work and we were at the venue for a long 12 hours, organising, dressing models and most of all getting frantic!
All of the clothes and accessories were designed, photographed and modeled by our very own Newcastle College Sixth Form students and they couldn't have done a more amazing job!
The show was presented by Real Radio Presenter Kelly Scott who knitted the night together and made kept our guests entertained, she was brilliant! Alongside Kelly were two amazing singers Lauren Amour, 14 and Elle Armstrong, 17, both are talented like you wouldn't believe so search them on Facebook and like their pages!
We even had stalls by a local t-shirt designer; What Katey Did Clothing, a cake stall by local cupcake shop Cake and a handmade card stall.
The whole night was a brilliant success and I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who supported, helped out and attended the night!
